SiftAO uses data from the U.S. Census Bureau's American Community Survey (ACS), Decennial Census, and Economic Census programs. This includes demographic data, housing characteristics, and economic indicators at state, county, ZIP code, and census tract levels.
Attribution Requirements:

Economic data is sourced from the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis's FRED database, including employment statistics, GDP data, interest rates, and other macroeconomic indicators relevant to real estate market analysis.

Real estate market data including home prices, inventory levels, and sales volume is sourced from Redfin's publicly available market data. This data provides insights into residential real estate trends across different geographic markets.

Realtor.com's Hotness Index provides national ranking, hotness score, demand score, and supply score for local markets. It measures how many viewers are searching for homes in a given area compared to the national average, helping investors identify markets experiencing fast-moving supply and demand dynamics and trending residential real estate areas.
